July 2006: Ryan & Jenn receive 4th place in the Unisong.com International song contest for thier co-write "I Could Have Been Beautiful." Thank you to all of our family and friends who voted to make it the 2006 People's Choice winner. This is a message from Alan Roy Scott (unisong.com co-founder):
"First off, as a co-founder although I am not involved directly in the judging process, I do get to hear all the winners before they are announced and so I must tell you how much I truly loved your heart wrenching song with a glorious message and particularly moving ending. In fact, as a veteran 25 year songwriter myself in addition to overseeing "Unisong" as one spoke of my own career wheel, the highest compliment I can pay you is to say I wish I'd written your song myself. And coming in 4th in our more popular categories with over 400 entries this year in this category alone was surely no small feat either. I hope you can take that fact as the creative validation of your obvious talent it is meant to be and let it resonate for a while."

On April 29, 2004, 23 year old Sgt. Landis Garrison of Rapids City, Illinois fell for our country in Iraq. Landis was a guy with a big heart who would do anything for anyone.
